SPORTS PHYSIO NOOSA

I’m aiming to be recognised as the best Physio, Noosa-wide. Would you believe that in my last role, I got myself into trouble for rehabilitating people’s injuries too quickly? It’s crazy to think that other physios don’t always have the clients best interest at heart, so in contrast, my Noosa Physiotherapy studio finds the root cause of your issue, and aims to minimise your repeat sessions. Follow my lead and you’ll be back to full function in the shortest amount of time possible. I’m a qualified Sports and Musculoskeletal Physio who offers a personalised, holistic approach to injury and pain rehabilitation.

A Noosa Physio Who Cares

If you value quality over quantity, you enjoy moving your body and want a Noosa Physio who really cares, I’d love to help you. I’m Tara, I’m located only footsteps away from Noosa Junction and I’m aiming to be recognised as the best Sports Physio Noosa-wide.

I’m at a point in my life where I value balance and the gratification of doing a job well. As a Noosa Physio, after my morning surf, I’m grateful that I have the space to dedicate more quality time to my Physiotherapy clients, offering non-rushed treatments that get results in the shortest amount of time possible.

I’m well known for getting to the root cause of issues quickly, which generally results in less repeat Physio sessions. I absolutely love keeping our Sunny Coast surfers in the ocean. Nothing makes me happier than giving someone instant relief and keeping active people ACTIVE!

The good news is that my job is to get you better as quickly as possible. I hear of so many health professionals trying to get their clients to keep coming back but this business model doesn’t sit well with me. • Originally from Melbourne, I was a trainer for Collingwood footy club (don’t judge me) and made the move to sunny Queensland where I studied to become an accredited Exercise and Sports Physio. In my early Physio days, I worked in the hospital setting in a variety of areas like cardiorespiratory, neurological and musculoskeletal Physiotherapy which was a great foundational experience for my growing knowledge. Fast forward 15 years slugging it out in busy private clinics, studying more and running around on sporting fields for Brisbane Lions AFLW and Philippine Rugby teams, I decided it was time for a reset. Nature was literally calling me! I now base myself in one of the most beautiful places in the world - Australia’s Sunshine Coast in Noosa and specialise in E Sports Physiotherapy. Based on my extensive experience, I can provide physiotherapy to pretty much anyone who needs help; which brings me great feelings of gratitude to offer what I’ve learnt over the years : )

  • Most clients want to know what is going on and to be given self-management tools they can use for quicker recovery. In our first session, I aim to give you a diagnosis, treat the root cause, relieve your symptoms and then give you a strength and conditioning rehab plan physiotherapists use to help recovery. For example, you may have had previous shoulder injuries or anterior shoulder pain that is now being affected by your slouched posture at work. Together, we look at all contributing factors, the root cause and any other holistic approaches to treat you as a whole person and not just an injury. Services include advice, education, treatment, exercises and hand on treatment to have you feeling better a lot sooner. Please note you can also swipe your health fund card here for private health rebates.

  • I believe in practicing within your scope and unfortunately don’t offer a full hour of relaxation or remedial massage as there are massage therapists out there that specialize in this. In saying this, it’s likely I’ll incorporate some massage in your appointment if required. As a skilled Physiotherapist, it’s important I get you pain free and will do this with a range of physiotherapy services that will work as quickly as possible. If you have goals to be on the leaner side, I can direct you on starting up exercise in a safe way and direct you to the best personal trainers in Noosa for that extra motivation.

If you are unsure, just ask : )
