Noosa Physiotherapy Treatments Combining Sports & Musculoskeletal Services

In Depth listening & Biomechanical Assessment

What I believe sets me apart from other Physio’s, is that I offer my clients a holistic approach to injury treatment and rehabilitation along with quality time to understand your injury and goals. I want to know why you have pain, so I make it my priority to give you a clear diagnosis in our first session. With a good 15 mins of questions, I’m able to better perform a movement assessment of your biomechanics and any sports-specific tests to pinpoint the cause. As a Noosa Physiotherapy clinician, I strongly believe a thorough assessment is the key to offering quality treatments and rehab programs that enable clients to achieve their goals. I want to get it right the first time.

root cause and symptom TREATMENT

Based on my detailed assessment, I’ll explain my findings thoroughly and educate you on what is actually going on. My goal as your Noosa Physiotherapist is to target the root cause rather than superficial or secondary symptoms. Treatments can include functional sports massage, dry needling, joint mobilisations and more. Scroll down to see what pain relieving treatments I offer. I strongly believe this approach is what allows my clients to experience rapid and long-term improvement.

‘BANG FOR YOUR BUCK’ Rehabilitation PROGRAMS

It’s a combined team effort in getting you back to what you love doing. If you’re wanting to make instant improvements, then follow my lead and together we’ll get the results you’re after. I’m here to guide and educate you on self-management techniques and create a custom-tailored rehab program that will accelerate your recovery.

I’m also realistic when it comes to work/life balance and time constraints, so I like designing ‘bang for your buck’ rehab exercises that will be purposeful in your goals but not take up too much of your time.

 FAQ’s About Physiotherapy Treatments

  • Looking for a Noosa Physio? I’m an easy walk behind Noosa Junction at 2/9 Berrima Row, Noosa Heads, QLD on the Sunshine Coast. You’ll get the full health care support you need in the privacy of my own home with a beautiful view. Contact us today on 0421803676 for your initial consultation. I look forward to meeting you : )

  • As I’m located in Noosa, there are a lot surfers who come to me with shoulder, knee and back issues. Some common manual therapy tools I offer are sports massage, muscle and joint mobilisation and manipulation and dry skin needling. And to get lasting results, I’ll always give my clients a new exercise rehab program to accelerate your recovery and get you active sooner. I’m not a Physio who offers ‘just massage therapy’ and sends you on your way. I deliver evidence based excellence and want the very best for your entire wellbeing.

  • Not at all. As a professional Sports Physio, I’m able to diagnose musculoskeletal conditions for patients and also refer on if needed. You do not need to see your GP as a patient before seeing me and no referral is required. I also treat anyone in pain so you don’t need to be playing sports or an athlete to be able to see me :) HICAPS and health fund accepted.

  • Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy can treat a wide variety of conditions in the community ranging from muscle strains, ankle sprains, chronic and acute back pain, knee injuries, TMJ pain, jaw pain, tendon issues, fractures, arthritis and injury prevention. Everything in the body is connected so when giving you therapy, I make sure I get to the root cause while also working on the connecting parts that may have contributed to your pain or injury. My services include offering you the correct diagnosis, reduction of your pain and improving how your body feels for better physical function, fitness and motion.

  • I want to get you better as quickly as possible which is why I offer all my clients exercises and mobility work for their joints and muscles. This helps speed up the recovery process which makes me a happy Physio when clients share the news that they’re pain free and back to their training, sport or activity : )

  • All Physiotherapists within the Australia Physiotherapy Association, abide by the Privacy Act and Policy register to uphold Physiotherapist and patient confidentiality. This includes all terms and conditions related to information or content released by the patient. If you would like more info, I would be happy to assist as your therapist. Contact us on online.

  • I offer my clients Introduction Clinical Mat Pilates sessions to educate and ensure clients get the most out of their group reformer Pilates classes and for any women’s health issues. Pilates is a great form of exercise in the management of chronic neck and back pain (and lots more) however technique is key, which is why it’s important to be guided by an allied health professional. I tailor strength and conditioning exercise therapy for any individual dysfunction or pain you have and offer modifications to make sure you’re not making things worse in your group classes. My goal is to make sure you’re not doing anything to hinder your recovery, make sure you have really good technique and assist you in feeling confident with the ‘do’s’ and ‘don’ts’ in your Pilates classes.

  • Your whole wellbeing is important to me. Yes, it’s important to get you physically fit and moving well, however I like to look at all the contributing factors that can help or hinder your recovery. Acknowledging stress in your life, how that affects pain and tension in your body, any modifiable factors in your life that we can change like your sitting postures can make a huge overall difference. Good Physiotherapists use questioning to highlight ALL the things that affect someone’s pain experience so it’s important to address everything we can for the best possible outcome. I specialise in looking at the person as a whole and not just addressing the painful body part.

  • Unfortunately no, given the extra time it takes to travel and set up. If you can’t physically attend my physio room at my residence, then please let me know and we can either arrange an online appointment or we can discuss other options. Whether you are on holidays or a local, I’m only a short drive from Noosaville, Tewantin, Doonan, Weyba Downs and Sunshine Beach.
